Become an Annual Zoo Member!
Zoo memberships sustain the zoo’s operations for animals, staff and visiting public. Annual members enjoy many perks including entry year round during open zoo hours plus options for guests, grandparents, behind-the-scenes and zoo updates. We also have monthly member appreciation events!
Admission Rates
General Daytime Admission Rates
$25 for non-resident adult (age 16+)
$18 for Alaska resident adult (age 16+)
Show Alaska ID, no student IDs
$16 for senior (age 65+) or military adult
Show proof of service for active duty or veteran
$12 for youth (age 3-15)
FREE for age 2 and under
Zoo Lights Rates
$25/person ages 3+
Zoo members ages 3+ receive a $10 discount per ticket by signing in to their current and active membership account online before buying Zoo Lights tickets. Adjusted price will appear in the last stages of checkout.
Ages 2 and under are free
Tickets are available online and at the gate during open Zoo Lights hours.
Please note that zoo entry can be purchased at the gate for all regular zoo hours and public daytime events. Events that require advance reservation of tickets will be noted within their descriptions.

Zoo Lights Hours
Opening Night: November 28 (Black Friday), 2025, 5-8pm
November 28-20, December 5-7, December 12-14, 5-8pm
Nightly December 19, 2025 - January 4, 2026, 5-8pm
No Zoo Lights on December 25th (zoo closed Christmas Day)
February 13-15 (Valentines Weekend), 5-8pm
March 6-15 (ASD Spring Break plus weekends), 7-9:30pm
Please note that the Kape Espresso Tayo Coffee Shop will be closed on Saturday evenings during Zoo Lights, as well as on Tuesday evenings over the Winter Break. These closures are due to previous commitments by our Kape Espresso Tayo Coffee Shop service. We are working on having an additional warming area on these evenings, with details to be posted as they become available. In the meantime, you are welcome to bring warm drinks of your own on your zoo visit.

Policies:
Ages 16 and older may visit the zoo on their own. Youth ages 15 and under must have an adult present during their visit.
Service fees applied to ticket purchases online.
Businesses, tour providers and community organizations with 30 or more guests can submit a group rate request form. If approved, your group will receive 20% off entry fees.
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be applied to memberships. If you have a TourSaver coupon, show to redeem.
