Birds, Bees and Wine at the Alaska Zoo

Join us for a wild night out at the Alaska Zoo on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 from 5:30-9pm at Birds, Bees and Wine! This 21+ event includes 4 wine tastings at locations on zoo trails while guests explore the wild side of the zoo. We will have zoo staff and volunteers at stations near animal habitats to talk the language of animal love with you at this uncensored event. Discuss animal mating habits, reproductive biology and more. We will also have wine and live music by Juicy Harps on the lawn.

Proceeds from this event support the zoo's mission of wildlife care and community programs. Entry is through advance purchase of online tickets. Sponsored by the Office of Stacey Allen (State Farm Insurance Agent) and in partnership with 61 Degrees North Winery, Bear Creek Winery & Lodging, Glacier Bear Winery, Aurora Nights Liquor, and Swiftwater Winery. Savory and sweet crepe options for sale by The Metro AK Mobile Restaurant. Mocktails served by Buzzed Beetle. Tickets are $65 each and include a signature glass with a logo. We do not have designated driver tickets for this event, each person pays the $65 ticket fee. We will have non-alcoholic drinks available. The ticket fee covers zoo entry, the logo glass and the event activities. ID check will be required for entry.
