Zoo Brew features local craft beer and cider from a variety of Alaskan breweries as well as food from local food trucks that are available for purchase. Ticket holders will receive a set number of drink tickets to be redeemed for 8/10oz pours.

This event is a benefit for the Alaska Zoo’s mission of wildlife care and community enrichment. Support local breweries and the zoo by joining us for this fun evening of craft beer, cider, local vendors, food trucks and live music on the zoo lawn.

This is a 21+ evening, ID check required for entry.

The Evening Flow

• 5pm: Zoo closes to the public.

• 6pm: Check-in for Zoo Brew begins at the gate.

• Enjoy live music, food, brews, trails and animals!

• 9:30pm: Last call for drinks.

• 10pm: Travel home safely! Use a DD or service.

Become a Sponsor

Zoo Brew is a new event in 2025 which is being received with great energy by breweries and vendors. Sign on as a brewery (Ally or Partner Levels) or an event sponsor (Craft Black Bear, Brewing Brown Bear or Polar Bear Brewery Levels). Review the levels and email us for info:

For Breweries:

Brewing Ally: Donate your brew to be poured at the event. Your 300px wide logo will be included as a sponsor of the event on all digital and in-person marketing materials. The zoo’s social media following consists of 200,000+ followers and this event will be marketed in a variety of ways, including online and in-person.

Brewing Partner: Join us at the event to pour, mingle, and promote your business. A 10x10 tent will be provided in one of the locations around the zoo. Your 400px wide logo will be included as a sponsor of the event on all digital and in-person marketing materials. The zoo’s social media following consists of 200,000+ followers and this event will be marketed in a variety of ways, including online and in-person. You may also hand out or sell approved branded merchandise. 

For Event Sponsors:

• Craft Black Bear Sponsor ($500.00): The Craft Black Bear sponsorship level includes all the perks mentioned above, with your 300px wide logo on all recognition materials.

• Brewing Brown Bear Sponsor ($1,000.00): At the Brewing Brown Bear level, you will be recognized as a sponsor of the “bites and brews” area of the zoo. This high-traffic location, which will feature food trucks and premium breweries, is the perfect place to get your brand noticed and interact with guests. In addition, this level includes all the perks mentioned above, with your 400px wide logo on all recognition materials. Only two sponsorships will be available at this level, so act fast!

• Polar Bear Brewery Sponsor ($2,000.00): The Polar Bear Brewery Sponsorship, is our highest level of support available. At this level, you will not only receive the perks listed above, with a 500px wide logo, but also be recognized as the premier sponsor of “Beer on the Lawn”, which will feature food, live music, and premium brews. Only one sponsorship will be available at this level, so act fast!
