Kids Day at the Zoo
This event at the Alaska Zoo on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 sponsored by Global Credit Union.
Adults pay regular admission or use annual zoo memberships.
Kids ages 3-17 have FREE zoo entry on april 26th, 2025 from 10am-5pm.
last entry is at 4:30pm.
Saturday, April 26th, 2025 - KIDS AGES 17 & UNDER FREE ENTRY!
Adults pay regular rates or use their zoo membership.
Youth ages 17 and under are allowed free entry on Saturday April 26th, 2025 sponsored by Global Credit Union. Zoo hours and activities are 10am-5pm, last entry at 4:30pm. Old and new admissions will be utilized to reduce lines. The entry point at the old admissions cabin will be credit card payment only, with all payments accepted at the main entrance.
Satellite Parking and Shuttle: We will be offering a free shuttle and satellite parking at Service High School for this event, courtesy of Global Credit Union. You can park there and take the bus to and from the zoo. You can also park your car there and meet friends, then carpool to the zoo. The shuttle will run from Service High starting at 9:45am. Event activities are 10am to 5pm at the zoo.
Please be kind to zoo neighbors - event parking is on zoo property or at Service High School only!
Please note that the Petting Zoo is closed due to spring mud, however visitors can pet the goats if they come over to the fence.

Main Entrance: Welcome table on the first trail in the zoo.
Picnic Pavilion: Game center.
Discovery Center: Moose awareness, biofacts by Zoo Education.
Old Admissions: Welcome tent, credit card entry, cotton candy.
Great Horned Owl: Photo booth.
Muskox Expansion Trail: Animal trivia prize wheel.
Greenhouse: Food trucks, animal tattoos.
Old Elephant House Trail: 360 photo booth.
Outside of Seal & Otter: Shuttle location.
Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop and the Gift Shop will be open for business.
