Ullr Fest
Thursday, December 12th, 2024 at the Alaska Zoo, 6-9pm
Evening includes food, drinks, Zoo Lights and more for the 21+ crowd.
Celebrate Alaska’s winter season in Norse style at “Ullr Fest at the Alaska Zoo”, inspired by Ullr the Norse legend of winter. As folklore has it, he ruled over Asgard when Odin was not there with a love of winter, hunting, skiing and archery. Ullr has come to symbolize a love of snow and an embrace of winter’s harsh elements.
This event is an adults-only evening at the zoo for the 21+ crowd. The evening will feature the following:
Zoo Lights for all guests, 6-9pm.
$55 ticket includes a turkey leg, corn and drinks. Bite into a succulent turkey leg while you embibe on Broken Tooth beer and Hive Mind mead while enjoying the roaring bonfire.
$40 DD ticket includes a turkey leg, corn and non-alcoholic beverages - but same Viking fun.
A raging bonfire to inspire the Viking in you.
Dress in Viking theme.
Purchase tickets in advance online. ID must be presented at check in, age 21+ only.
