Artisan Bazaar

Artisan Bazaar is the Alaska Zoo’s annual locally-made holiday artisan event! Local artists sell their one-of-a-kind work and the zoo provides the venue in the Gateway Hall outside of the entrance for free access to shop. The Zoo Gift Shop is also open for shopping and located on the lower level of the building. Additional highlights for the 2024 Artisan Bazaar include 3D printing and spinning wheel demonstrations throughout the afternoon plus a BOGO offer for zoo entry for the day if you make a bazaar purchase!

Location: Alaska Zoo Gateway Hall, free for public to shop (building is outside of zoo entrance)

Date & Time: Sunday, December 8th, 2024 from 12pm-6pm

  • 16 vendors selling original work

  • Hot drinks available

  • Drop off for Toys for Tots

  • Make a purchase at the bazaar and get BOGO (buy one, get one) tickets for admission or Zoo Lights on December 8th

  • Baked goods for sale

  • 3D printing and spinning wheel demonstrations
