Keeper for a Day Experience

Keeper for a Day allows participants to shadow and help zookeepers for a 4-hour period as they make diets, clean up after, feed and train zoo animals.

Ready, set and jump into the world of zookeeping! Learn what a zookeeper’s average day is like as they prepare diets, feed animals, clean up habitats, set up enrichment for animals, record medical information, conduct training sessions and spend time with the animals they care for. You will gain a true understanding of the heart and soul of the zoo - the keepers who give their all to our mission and animals.
