Migrate to the Zoo for this bird celebration on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 11am to 5pm.
The International Migratory Bird Day event at the Alaska Zoo on Sunday, May 17th will allow visitors to explore activity stations focusing on the important role bird habitat plays for birds and every other living organism on earth. The event will run from 11am to 5pm. All ages are welcome! We’ll have hands-on activities, Jr. Duck Stamp artwork display, citizen science opportunities, craft stations, games and much more. Education birds from Bird Treatment and Learning Center will be with their handlers for up-close viewing. Migrate to the zoo for this conservation-focused event!
