Featured Events in May:

Armed Forces Day - Saturday, May 17

Description:

• Members of the military will receive 1/2 price admission if they show their military I.D. at the admissions window.
• Enjoy all of the services, sights, and sounds the zoo has to offer.  Thank you for all of your dedication in serving our country!

Access Zoo Day - Wednesday, May 21

• Visitors with physical disabilities are welcome to enjoy a tour of the zoo on golf carts.
• The use of the golf carts is generously donated for this event by the Anchorage Golf Course.
• Volunteers from both the zoo and AARP will be driving the carts.
• The golf cart tours will run from Noon to 3:00 only.
• No advance registration or reservations taken.  The golf cart access is on a first-come basis.
• There will be no charge for the golf cart tours beyond regular zoo admission.  Annual pass use does apply as usual.
