Shop Greenhouse for a sing-a-long session with musician Annie
Reeves. Parents and
pre-schoolers sing with Annie as she plays her
guitar, including freelance time with musical instruments for
kids. Enjoy this creative way to connect children with
animals through music! |
 Join us every
Wednesday at 10:30am in the Coffee
Shop Greenhouse for a story session with staff and volunteers.
Parents and pre-schoolers listen as we read animal stories, followed by
an encounter or visit with an animal relating to the books. Enjoy this creative way to connect children with
animals through reading! |

'An Affair of the Heart' Craft Fair |

Saturday, February 6 from 10am to 4pm in the Gateway Building Find the perfect gift for your valentine at the Alaska Zoo's Craft Fair! Visit our Gateway Building at the new zoo entrance and shop from booths displaying unique craft items. Admission to the fair is free, standard admission rates to the zoo still apply. Shop Greenhouse. Cool for kids! |

Place your animal valentines in envelopes at our various animal
habitats. |

Enjoy a tactile experience with our hands-on animal items in the
Coffee Shop Greenhouse. |

Raffle and hot cocoa stations. |

Animal mascot roaming the zoo grounds. |
